Available in our deli: roasted California garlic cloves

We offer whole, sweet, caramelized garlic cloves in our deli
olive bar, slow-roasted with extra virgin olive oil (EVOO) and herbs. They’re
aromatic, delectable and ready to eat. In fact, they’re remarkably versatile:
You can chop them, spread them on bread, sauté them with meat and vegetables or
just serve them whole.

Serve them as an appetizer with baguette and aged Asiago cheese, or use them to make this
amazing cheesy garlic bread:

Ingredients

  • French bread
  • Roasted garlic cloves
  • Butter
  • Lunds & Byerlys shredded Asiago cheese
  • Italian parsley

Directions

  1. Smash the
    garlic into the butter.
  2. Cut the
    French bread in half lengthwise.
  3. Spread the
    garlic butter mixture onto each half of the bread.
  4. Top with
    shredded Asiago and Italian parsley.
  5. Wrap bread
    in foil and bake at 375 F for 10 minutes. Uncover and bake for an additional 10
    minutes.
